This company produced solid wood scale aircraft kits in the early 1950's as far as I know. I
used to see them in my local hobby shop, but never considered purchasing one because they were
too expensive for a 10 year old. The owner of the shop showed me the contents of the Grummam
F9F Panther kit once. They were also more difficult to build than a Strombecker kit. The fact that
they were 1/48 scale made them more impressive to me.
