| The example I have here of an AMCO kit is one of the Crafto
Kits. I have dated it as 1939.
Definitely pre WW II. The price was 5 cents and the newest kit in the series was a Bell Pursuit. These were small kits made from balsa wood only. A block of balsa and a print wood sheet of balsa. The box measures 6" X 2". The top wingspan of the Grumman Fighter was 4.5 inches. |
