Bell  OH-58A  Kiowa






The below images are of two OH-58A airframes.  The first day I photgraphed #709.  It left in mid afternoon because it had to be flown to Stockon, California for shipping by rail to a modification center to be upgraded to a OH-58F, which is an A model upgraded to OH-58D standard. The second day I photographed #893 which is an OH-58A+ model.  It had the D model engine, but still retained the A model rotor system. Otherwise, it is an A model.
