| I took these photographs at the National Warplane
Museum in Elmira, NY in May, 2002. The museum's web site indicated that
they had a F2H-2P and it is painted on the tail of the aircraft, but as
you can see it is not the -2P version. There is even a picture of a F2H-2P
version with the enlarged nose in front of the aircraft. I did not take
photos of the rear area of the aircraft due to the puddle of water under
the fuselage from the wing back; there was a downpour at the time I visited
the Museum and water leaks under the door. |
