| I took these photos at the Tillamook Naval Air Museum in Tillamook, Oregon. This Skyraider is sans a large "Guppy Pod" radome that was located under the fuselage at the wing. The Museum has the radome, but the bird flies better without it. The museum is in a blimp hanger that is home to Barn Owls also. Most of the aircraft are under a tent to ward off bird droppings. It looks bright in the tent, but there is really very little light for taking photos. I used flash for close ups and a tripod for the rest. |
