Lockheed CF-104D Starfighter
|
| This is one of 38 two seat trainer versions
of the F-104G built by Lockheed for the Royal Canadian Air Force. First designated as a CF-113, but later changed to CF-104D. It did use a Canadian built J-79 engine, but the airframe was built in the United States unlike the 200 CF-104's built in Canada. This airframe is the last of the Mk.1 Trainer airframes. The Mk.2's were fully operation and could carry center line stores. It is displayed at the Canadian Forces College. |
